The amount charged will be dependent on the duration of the caregiving service provided.
If the caregiving service lasts for 2 hours or less, Jaga-Me will apply a minimum charge of 2 hours. If you had paid upfront, we will deduct the minimum charge of 2 hours and refund the remaining amount that you have paid.
However, if the caregiving service lasts for more than 2 hours, Jaga-Me will apply a minimum charge of 6 hours. If you had paid upfront, we will deduct the minimum charge of 6 hours and refund the remaining amount that you have paid.
For example:
- If a 10-hour Home Personal Caregiving appointment was scheduled but only 1 hour was fulfilled, a minimum charge of 2 hours will apply, and the remaining 8 hours will be refunded.
- If a 10-hour Home Personal Caregiving appointment was scheduled but only 3 hours were fulfilled, a minimum charge of 6 hours will apply, and the remaining 4 hours will be refunded.
*Please be aware that situations of unforeseen circumstances are subject to review by Jaga-Me, on a case-by-case basis. Examples of such circumstances include a patient's deteriorating condition that necessitates hospitalization or the patient's passing during the appointment.
