In cases where multiple nursing procedures are conducted within a single visit, the procedure with the higher cost will be billed at its full procedure price. Meanwhile, the procedure(s) with a lower cost will be charged at half price.
Example:
Both a Simple Wound Dressing and an Injection are administered together during a Weekday, Day shift.
- The Simple Wound Dressing, which is the more expensive procedure, will be charged at its full price of $99.
- The Injection will be billed as an Additional Procedure, at half of its regular price of $93, which is $46.50.
- Total Charge: $99 (Simple Wound Dressing) + $93/2 (Additional Procedure price for Injection) = $145.50
