Forging forward on our mission to bring high-quality care beyond the hospitals into the community, we will be updating our caregiving service prices to provide the best possible care for you. These changes will take effect from 1 October 2022.
We are always aiming for constant self-improvement, including the steady enhancement in the quality of care that we serve you.
In response to the rising demands and costs within the healthcare industry, Jaga-Me is revising the prices of our caregiving services so that we can continue to provide our patients with the best possible care at home. This price revision will allow us to improve our systems and processes, thereby enhancing your journey with Jaga-Me.
New Pricing for Caregiving Services
Example:
Total Price of Home Personal Caregiving Service (appointment during operating hours 8am-8pm)
= (Hourly Rate) x (Number of hours) x GST (assuming prevailing GST rate is 8%)
eg. 5-hour home personal caregiving on a weekend = $27 x 5 x 1.08 = $145.80
Example:
Total Price of Nurse Caregiving Service (appointment during operating hours 8am-8pm)
= (Hourly Rate) x (Number of hours) x GST (assuming prevailing GST rate is 8%)
eg. 6-hour nurse caregiving on a public holiday = $37 x 6 x 1.08 = $239.76
New Night Surcharge for Caregiving Services
Example:
Total Price of Home Personal Caregiving Service (appointment after operating hours 8pm-8am)
= [(Hourly Rate) x (Number of hours) + 2 x (Number of hours)] x GST (assuming prevailing GST rate is 8%)
eg. 6-hour home personal caregiving on a weekday = ($26 x 6) + ($2 x 6) x 1.08 = $181.44
Transition to Revised Pricing
All changes will take effect from 1 October 2022, and will apply to all Caregiving (Home Personal Caregiving and Nurse Caregiving) appointment bookings made after that date.
Any appointment booking made before 1 October 2022 will be charged according to the current pricing model. However, do take note that the current pricing model will only be valid for appointment dates up to 14 October 2022.
Examples:
On 15 August 2022, I made a service booking for home personal caregiving for my mother for 4 hours on 5 October 2022. I will be charged according to the current pricing model, and not the revised pricing.
On 15 September 2022, I made a service booking for nurse caregiving for my father for 4 hours on 15 October 2022. I will be charged according to the revised pricing model.

1. Why is there a change in the names of Jaga-Me’s caregiving services?
We have renamed our caregiving services to Nurse Caregiving and Home Personal Caregiving to provide better clarity on what we do best to serve your needs. There is no change in our brand promise, which is to deliver quality service to all our customers.
2. Why is Jaga-Me increasing the prices of its services?
Jaga-Me recognises that raising prices amid inflation has the potential to hurt our customer relationships but we believe in forging a new partnership with our customers and providing more value for all your needs. The price revision also ensures that we can continue to fairly remunerate our JagaPros to provide better care and service to our customers.
3. Why is Jaga-Me imposing a new hourly night surcharge for its caregiving services?
Jaga-Me has not implemented a night surcharge since we started our operations in 2016. The night surcharge will ensure that our night services can continue to be taken up by JagaPros to provide the best care for your loved ones at home.
4. Will the revised pricing apply to all Jaga-Me services?
The revised pricing will only apply to our Nurse Caregiving and Home Personal Caregiving services. There will not be any changes to our other services, including nursing procedures, caregiver training, teleconsultations or home medical services.
5. Am I eligible for subsidies and grants for Jaga-Me services?
If you are in need of financial assistance, there are many grants and subsidies available in Singapore to help lighten the load of caregiving costs. You can learn more about your eligibility for these grants and subsidies here.
6. How early in advance can I make an appointment booking?
You can only make an appointment booking 2 weeks in advance. It is advisable to make a booking at least 1 week prior to your preferred appointment date so that we are able to secure a suitable JagaPro for you.
